Our All Levels Ceramics course is suitable for complete beginners and improvers alike. 

You’ll be able to develop skills across a broad range of making and decorating techniques, including:

• Handbuilding - pinching, coiling and slab building

• Throwing on the potter's wheel

• Applying texture and colour through slip decoration and glazing

Each session will include demonstrations to support your technical development. You’ll also be encouraged to initiate your own ideas in clay and will be supported throughout by our experienced tutor. During the final session you’ll learn how to glaze your pieces and prepare them for the kiln firing. 

This event is limited to 7 students ensuring everyone has adequate access to resources and technical support from their tutor.

Level: All levels and abilities.

Includes: Earthenware clay, coloured slips, coloured oxides, glazes, firings, tea and coffee (herbal and dairy free alternatives available).
